As she had a beautiful voice quality of lyric coloratura soprano and inborn stage talents, and being remarkably hard-working, she started her studies of singing and piano at the Città di Roma Conservatory with Pilarín Andrés and Mª Elena Vallejo. She graduated as a Piano Teacher and as a Singing Teacher there. With the help of a FIDAH Foundation scholarship she graduated as a Musical Pedagogue from Saragossa Higher Conservatory, and she obtained a higher degree in singing and lyrical scene at the Great Theatre of Liceo Conservatory, Barcelona, with top marks. She has improved her vocal technique and repertoire with internationally well-known masters: Montserrat Caballé, Teresa Berganza, Virginia Zeanni, Ana María Sánchez, Enriqueta Tarrés, Robert Expert, Kurt Widmer, Enedina Lloris, Ana Luisa Chova, Paul Farrington, Miguel Zanetti, Dante Mazzola, Mario de Rose, Francesca Roig, Josefina Arregui, Daniel Muñoz, Celsa Tamayo, Eliberto Sánchez, etc. She has been a finalist for Montserrat Caballé's grants, in the "Germans Pla" Contest and in the International Music Tournament.
She was a member of the Amici Musicae, the Saragossa Auditorium choir. She has offered concerts of oratorio, opera, zarzuela (Spanish operetta) and lied as a soloist soprano with the ensemble "Más que Voces" in Spain, France and Italy. She has also sung as a soloist with other ensembles and orchestras, like the "Orquesta Sinfónica de Zaragoza", the "Orquesta Sinfónica del Conservatorio Superior de Aragón", the "Orquesta Sinfónica del Conservatorio Profesional de Soria", the Choir and Orchestra of the "Teatro Lírico de Zaragoza", the "Orquesta de Cámara de Huesca", the "Banda Municipal de Huesca" and others.
With Miguel A. Tapia as her accompanist, she was included in the Circuito de Artes Escénicas de Aragón. Last season, she made a very successful debut as Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata at Saragossa Auditorium, under maestro Juan Luís Martínez's baton. A few days later she recorded the compact disc La ópera, todo emoción, sponsored by Saragossa City Council, with Más Que Voces. In 2010 she was Ainhoa Arteta's and Montserrat Martí Caballé's cover in Puccini's La Bohème (roles of Mimi and Musetta). Estrella will return to interpret Musetta in December, 2011 in Bologna (Italy) under maestro Giuseppe Sforza's baton. In June, 2011 she has triumphed as Pamina of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, production german-aragonese at Saragossa Auditorium under maestro Juan Luís Martínez's baton. Next projects: In 2012, Estrella will record in Milan (Italy) three operas for Kikoclassic and Bongiovanni: Pinotta of Mascagni (Pinotta's role), Cavalleria Rusticana of Mascagni too (Lola's role) and Vanna of Pavanelli (Vanna's role).
Her repertoire also includes the roles of Gilda of Verdi's Rigoletto, Oscar of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera, Liu of Puccini's Turandot, Lucia of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Norina of Donizetti´s Don Pascuale, Adina of Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Micaela of Bizet´s Carmen, Juliette of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, Margueritte of Gounod's Faust, Susanna and Contessa in Mozart's opera Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina and Donna Anna of Mozart´s Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi and Despina of Mozart's Così fan tutte, Rosina of Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Cleopatra of Handel's Giulio Cesar, Francisquita of A.Vives's zarzuela Doña Francisquita, and Marina of Arrieta's Spanish opera Marina.
She has combined her artistic activities with teaching music at secondary schools and giving singing lessons at the Conservatory and the University. She studied Economic Science in the UNED and she obtained a degree in Law from Saragossa University and a Master of Management in Foreign Trade from ESIC.
