Estrella was born in Saragossa and she began her music studies at the age of 9. She took solfeggio and piano lessons at the Conservatory of the city. She graduated as a Piano Teacher and as a Musical Pedagogue in Saragossa Higher Conservatory. As she had an interesting light-lyrical (coloratura) soprano voice, she started official singing studies at the same time, and she obtained an intermediate degree after her studies with the soprano Pilarín Andrés and later with the mezzo-soprano María Elena Vallejo in the private professional conservatory Città di Roma.
With a FIDAH Foundation scholarship, she has finished with success improvement courses at the Singing Higher School in the Liceo Conservatory, Barcelona, with the teachers Enriqueta Tarrés, Angel Soler and Isabel Franco.
In July 2003 she was one of the five finalists for the Motserrat Caballé grants and she took part in the winners' concert at the "Patio de la Infanta". In 2006 she was announced the only finalist in the singing specialty of the Internacional Music Tournament at the Saragossa Auditorium and she performed at the Galve Room in the closing concert. She has attended master classes by Ana Luisa Chova, Carmen Bustamante, Enedina Lloris, Renata Parrussel, Virginia Zeanni, Paul Farrington, Miguel Zanetti, Santiago Casero, Dante Mazzola, Kayoko Tada, Ana María Sanchez, Robert Expert, Sara Almazán, María de los Llanos Martínez y Josefina Arregui in order to improve her vocal technique and repertory.
She was a member of the Amici Musicae, the Saragossa Auditorium choir. Later, with "Más que Voces" and other chamber groups, she has offered concerts of oratorio, opera, zarzuela (Spanish operetta) and lied as a soloist soprano in the Provincial Hospital Church of Our Lady of Grace, the Saragossa University Auditorium, the Complutense University (Madrid), the Aljafería Palace, the Sástago Palace hall, the Mozart Room of Saragossa Auditorium, the chapter house of Piedra Monastery, the cloister of San Juan de la Peña Monastery, the Guayente Monastery, the Rueda Monastery, the Veruela Monastery, the auditorium of the Woman House of Saragossa Council, the Civic Centre of Biescas Council, the Blue Room of Huesca "Casino Mercantil", Saragossa Cultural Centre "Río Ebro", Almozara Civic Centre, Olite castle (Navarre), Loarre castle (Huesca), San Felipe castle (Menorca), series of concerts organised by Caja Rioja Foundation with performances in the Civic Centres of Haro, Calahorra, Najera and Santo Domingo (La Rioja), in Sitges Miramar Palace closing the International Summer Course of Music and Body Art, Victoria de los Ángeles Auditorium in Sant Cugat (Barcelona), series of concerts in rural areas of Saragossa organised by the Department of Civic Participation of Saragossa Council, etc.
Under Carmen Bustamante's and Joan Antón Sanchez Aznar's guidance, she made her first appearance as Susanna in Mozart's opera Le Nozze di Figaro in St. Esteve de Guialbes (Girona), in the closing of the 8th Course of Musical Technique and Performance. She also has the roles of Zerlina of Mozart´s Don Giovanni, Pamina of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Despina of Mozart's Cossi Fan Tutte, Gilda of Verdi's Rigoletto, Oscar of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera, Violeta of Verdi´s La Traviata, Musetta of Puccini's La Bohéme, Liu of Puccini's Turandot, Cleopatra of Handel's Giulio Cesar, Norina of Donizetti´s Don Pascuale, Micaela of Bizet´s Carmen, Juliette of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette and Marguerite of Gounod's Faust.
She has combined her artistic activities with the managing of a family business, the legal profession in the law firm Ruiz-Ayucar y Asociados in Madrid, the foreign trade as an international finantial analist for the Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada (CAI) and the pedagogy as a secondary school music teacher and at the Conservatory. She studied Economic Science in the UNED and she obtained a degree in Law from Saragossa University and a Master of Management in Foreign Trade from ESIC.
